on may 10th, laboratory analysis pleted. pcR testing identified genetic sequences matching no knon viral families or pathogens. Sequencing revealed segments similar to Regression and Retroviral genomes integrated ith unknon coding. Further tests are being conducted to better characterize transmissibility and disease progression factors.
As the incubation period had not fully elapsed, all residents ere placed under precautionary quarantine effective immediately. Regional supply caches ere opened to provision the district per approved pandemic response protocols under Emergency Situation Level 2 guidelines. A team of 12 volunteers ill assist medical staff ith patient care, logistics and security until the quarantine duration expires on may 22nd ithout further cases reported.
